Book Review to Come

I've just read a great book and can't wait to get the review completed! It definitely rates an I for Incredible! The book I just finished was I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore. It was clever and suspenseful and I can't wait for the second book...The Power of Six to come out in August. Stay tuned for the full review.

Rating System

I for Incredible!- Books which recieve this rating are standout
novels. These books are books which draw the reader in immediately and connect to us in such a unique way that we are emotionally touched. These are books that I can't keep on my classroom shelf.

B for Basically Brilliant- Books which receive this rating are books that are repeat themes or aren't unique in their own right. They do however, entertain or enlighten the reader in such a way that they have difficulty putting the book aside.

A for Average- Books which recieve this rating are well written but lack the essential requirements to really reach their target audience and catch their attention through unforgettable characters, unique plots, and unusual but relate able conflicts.

L for Lacking- Books which recieve this rating are lacking the basic features of a novel which attracts the attention of life long readers.

Summary:
Will grew up in an orphanage where his dream is to become a knight. But instead Will is chosen to be a Ranger. The Rangers had always scared him when he was in the orphanage. The villagers say they practice magic but now, Will is one of them. Will soon learns that Rangers are the protectors of the kingdom and he starts his training. When the evil Morgarath orders the Kalkara to assassinate the most powerful war leaders in the kingdom, Will and his master set out to kill the nearly invincible creatures.

Opinion:
I loved this book because of all the action and adventure. I thought the plot was great! I loved the loyalty between the master and his apprentice in this book. I would recommend this to anybody who loves a ton of adventure. Ruins of Gorlan really kept it interesting with its twists and turns.
